Anime is a Japanese Art Form that has been adapted to American use


Anime is an art course that I teach in the Kirkland Art Center in Clinton ,N.Y.and at the Mohawk Valley Art Center in Little Falls ,New York.It is an American version of a major Japanese art movement.Included are some of the images that my students have created,both in anime and conventional watercolor and colored pencil.

This is an image created by Lynn Shibley of Little Falls.

The Forest Nymph is charming character with the anime style in the face and hair.

The Castle Princess is done in the anime style combining ideas from the Pre-Raphaelite movement of the late 1800's.

This is a fun anime showing a chibi and a blonde leaping into the air.The print tiltle is "Girls Have More Fun".
