Over the centuries,large immigrations to Upstate NY and the Adirondack Mountain area  have occurred.Famines,wars,persecution,religious  freedom etc. inspired these groups to seek a new life in a new part of the globe.They include a heavy migration of Irish,Italian,Polish,Welsh,Germand,French and more recently Bosnians,Chinese,Hungarians,Burmese,Indians etc.to this area.

My illustrated books tell some of the unique stories about these varius ethnic groups and they struggled to make Upstate NY their new home.I decided to telll their stories through the eyes of the "little people" that each group seems to have developed in their mythology and traditions.

My first book " Mist Fairies and Leprechauns of the Adirondacks" tells the story of the Welsh and Irish settlement to the Southern Adirondacks.It is now in its second printing and retails for $13.00 including shipping.

My second book" Rainbow Makers of the Adirondacks" tells the story of the Palatine German settlement of the mountains and valley areas in Central NY.This story is told by little German gnomes and reviews the settlements from before the French and Indian War,the American Revolution and the War of 1812.This book sells for $17.00 including shipping.

The third book will tell the story of Joseph Napoleon ,who came to the Adirondacks after his brothers defeat at Waterloo.This book is not ready yet ,but will be finished by early 2010.
